Death Race Behind The Scenes

To my surprise there is already a behind-the-scenes clip of Death Race, the upcoming sci fi movie starring Jason Statham on the web since a few months (on jalopnik). But its authenticity wasn't confirmed till now.

The last Death Race picture Empire Magazine published confirms the video was not fake.

Indeed the dreadful lorry shown in the behind the scenes video of Death Race is the same as the one you may see from front on the picture from Empire:

The vehicle is said to be called the 'Dreadnought', a quite scary name that suits the design of this truck which looks like a product of some military car tuning.

Death Race With Jason Statham in August 2008

Director Paul W.S. Anderson is working on Death Race. It is actually a remake of Death Race 2000, a 1975 film that starred Sylvester Stallone.

Jason Statham will have the lead role in the new Death Race movie.

The film should be released in August 2008.

The Plot:
In a future America, prison inmates are forced to compete against each other in a driving arena. I'm glad to know Jason Statham will star in this remake. With movies like the Transporter or the Bank Job Jason Statham has proved that he is a great actor!
